As an educator, I was captivated by this book from beginning to end. The writing paints such vivid pictures that readers can easily imagine and feel connected to every scene. What makes this book truly special are the thoughtful, heartfelt life lessons woven throughout the story. The messages about kindness, empathy, and character are presented in a way that feels authentic and relatable for children.

The illustrations are absolutely adorable, and readers can't help but be drawn to Ella's sweet and gentle spirit. Ella is a character that young readers will instantly connect with, and I can't wait to see where her adventures take her next. Here's hoping this is just the beginning of a wonderful series!

A Beautiful Reminder That Kindness Creates Magic

The Library’s Hidden Magic is such a sweet and thoughtful children’s book that reminds young readers that the greatest kind of magic comes from kindness. I especially loved how the story shows that the fairies are drawn to the school library and children not simply because of the books or the setting, but because of the kindness shown to others.

The story beautifully connects everyday acts of caring, friendship, and generosity with something truly magical. It illustrates that everyone can be kind and can change another's actions because of their kindness. It’s a wonderful way to help children understand that even the smallest kind gesture can make a big difference and create a special kind of magic around them.

I believe this book would be a wonderful and loving addition to any classroom or home library. It encourages children to look for opportunities to be kind and reminds us all that when kindness is present, a little bit of magic can follow.

This story was absolutely beautiful. The imagery was rich and warm, the characters were very round even in just the few pages where they lived, and the moral of the story was woven throughout in a delicate way that influenced but wasn’t overbearing. I loved everything about it.

The foreword was so touching (I’ve always LOVED library day) and the magic jumped right off the page. I loved how the obstacle of The Kindness Crew trying to recruit members who made fun of them ultimately led to the three kids wanting to join and really make a difference with their own kindness towards others.

The cherry on top for me was at the very end when you encouraged the reader to create their own Kindness Crew, created a pledge for them to use in the club, and then challenged readers to think of ways to be kind in their own realm.
